We started in the kitchen, where the aromas of the piloncillo candle complemented the various dishes Chef Maritza Vazquez was preparing. Joseph mixed the masa and prepared the tortillas. There was music playing, sunlight coming in from the window and great conversation. We sat together for a family-style meal when everything was ready. Armonía. Harmony.
