This project presented a unique challenge; the client envisioned imagery inspired by Italian landscapes and architecture, yet the shoot needed to take place in Austin, Texas. To bring that vision to life, I started scouting locations. There were several contenders but we ultimately settled on a place that had everything we needed: textures, color palette, tiles, beautiful walkways. I also sourced a vintage red car, and had it transported to our location. The resulting images received an enthusiastic reaction from the client. These photos are a visual love letter to light, architecture and the art of la Dolce Vita.
